List of Uber Like Alternatives or Clones
Uber is by far the best app for private taxi service in terms of user experience, availability and reach. I've tried a lot of them because I keep getting invites and decided to do some comparison. They usually give you $10 free credit for signing via invite up so I've taken the time to provide you with links that include an embedded promo code / referral.
This will be a running list to be updated frequently. Please let me know if I'm missing any. Since they keep expanding, the locations column may not be very accurate.

In London we used kabbee which is a really polished app to compare and book private cabs for slightly cheaper than black cabs but they do take some time to be dispatched.
